Estrie has not always had this shape. The MRC de La Haute-Yamaska, whose central city is Granby, has belonged to it since July 28, 2021; the MRC de Brome-Missisquoi, home to Farnham and Dunham, falls under Estrie as well. Three towns that, the day before, were read off a Montérégie map — and whose neighbouring cities, to this day, are all on that side.

So this page makes no claim to cover all of Estrie. The Estrie territory we serve today is Granby, Farnham and Dunham: three towns, three pages, named just below. Not Sherbrooke, not Magog, not the Val-Saint-François — writing that down costs less than a truck that never shows up.

Granby: the post-war bungalow has a wide driveway, the recent semi-detached a narrow one — and a 10 yard fits no better there than a 20, same footprint on the ground, simply less tall
Granby: overnight street parking stays allowed in winter, except once a snow-removal operation is triggered — announced the day before
Farnham: trucking is prohibited on every municipal road except fifteen named streets, but local delivery is expressly excluded from that ban
Farnham: in the rural sector, gravel driveways are long and clear; the reference is branch height, trimmed to 16 ft above the roadway
Farnham: the temporary carport goes up from November 1 to May 1, exactly where the dumpster would sit

Granby has its own drop-off centre, run by the MRC de La Haute-Yamaska: vehicles with six wheels or fewer, unloaded by hand, an address in the county required, soil and reinforced concrete refused. Farnham has none: the only permanent facility in Brome-Missisquoi is in Cowansville, it refuses shingles, reinforced concrete and soil, and the county answers “no” to the contractor who would go there on a resident's behalf.
