Contractor Dumpster Rental for Job Sites and Property Managers

A job site doesn't rent a dumpster the way a house does: every contractor rental includes 15 days instead of 7, swaps are planned ahead with the dispatcher, the 40 cubic yard follows job sites that keep moving, and single-material dumpsters — concrete, asphalt, brick and mortar, soil — handle sorting at the source with a more generous tonnage allowance. One call to 514 708-2424 settles the size, the schedule and the firm price, project by project.

Service built for people who keep dumpsters working

At a house, a dumpster arrives, fills up, leaves. On a job site, it is part of the logistics: it has to be there before demolition starts, leave full without stopping anyone, and the next one has to arrive behind it. That is what the dispatcher organizes with you — by phone, because a job-site schedule is better discussed than typed into a form. And every contractor rental starts with 15 days included instead of 7: the box gets time to do its work.

When dumpsters follow one another from project to project, the terms are worth a conversation too: loyalty and volume have their perks — let's talk. Billing, on the other hand, never moves: the price agreed on the phone is the price on the invoice, weight overage is pro-rated on the weigh ticket, and the complete list of what is included and of the only possible extras is published. Nothing is discovered on the invoice.

Property manager? In several cities we serve, residential buildings with more than 12 dwellings — as are commercial buildings with more than 12 units — are excluded from municipal collection: you must retain a qualified company for containers, collection and disposal. We take that mandate, with a contract on file if the city asks, and every city page documents the verified local rules — permit, parking, placement.

Is your project pursuing LEED certification? Disposal tracking can be documented — see the LEED projects page. And if the site moves fast, the $50 Libération Express credit applies when the dumpster is freed up within 48 hours of delivery, during the March-to-October high season.

Contractor terms, in plain words

Everything a homeowner gets is included for you — plus what a job site demands.

Included with every dumpster

  • 15 rental days, instead of 7 for homeowners
  • Delivery and pick-up
  • A tonnage allowance, based on the size and type
  • PROTEC-O-SOL planks, built into the dumpster
  • The day counter stops as soon as you authorize pick-up
  • Same-day delivery when available

Organized for the job site

  • Planned swaps: one dumpster leaves, the next one arrives
  • 40 cubic yards for job sites that keep moving
  • Single-material dumpsters: concrete, asphalt, brick and mortar, soil
  • Clear billing: the price agreed on the phone, the weigh ticket as proof
  • $50 Libération Express credit when the dumpster is freed up within 48 hours of delivery (March to October)

The right size for the job site

The same dumpsters as everywhere, read through a contractor's eyes: footprint, included tonnage, typical use.

The sizeOn the job site
10 cubic yards · 14 × 8 ft footprint · 1 tonne includedTargeted demolition, basements, tight yards. Same footprint as a 20 yard, lower — it frees up no length in a short access.
20 cubic yards · 14 × 8 ft footprint · 2 tonnes includedThe size for heavy renovations, roofing and strip-outs — about the size of a Dodge Caravan.
40 cubic yards · 20 × 8 ft footprint · 4 tonnes includedJob sites that keep moving: construction, demolition, building clean-outs. This is the one we run on planned swaps.
Single material · concrete, asphalt, brick and mortar, soilSorting at the source: 7 tonnes included on a 20 yard, because the material goes straight to the right place. Filled to three quarters maximum, one material only — any mix brings sorting fees.

The dispatcher confirms the size and the swap schedule during the call — two minutes is enough, and the price is firm.

The questions contractors ask us

How many days are included for a contractor?

15 days with every dumpster, instead of 7 for homeowners. And the clock stops as soon as you authorize pick-up by phone — even if the truck comes a few days later, those days are not billed to you. Beyond 15 days, talk to us about your volume: loyalty has its perks.

Can you schedule dumpster swaps?

Yes — that is how a job site should run: the schedule is planned ahead with the dispatcher, a full dumpster leaves, an empty one arrives behind it. Deliveries generally happen between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., with no guaranteed time, and pick-up normally comes within about 1 to 5 days of your authorization — tell us if a fast pick-up is needed.

Do you offer single-material dumpsters for sorting at the source?

Yes: concrete, asphalt, brick and mortar, soil. The included tonnage is far more generous than in a mixed dry-material dumpster — 7 tonnes on a 20 yard — because the material goes straight to the right place. The trade-off: the dumpster takes only its material, filled to three quarters maximum, and any mix brings sorting fees.

Do you handle dumpsters for apartment buildings?

Yes. In several cities we serve, residential buildings with more than 12 dwellings — and commercial buildings with more than 12 units — are excluded from municipal collection: the manager must retain a qualified company for containers, collection and disposal. We take that mandate, with a contract on file if the city asks.

Do you work on LEED projects?

Yes — disposal is documented for projects pursuing certification. The details, the fees and the process are on the LEED projects page, and are settled by phone, like everything else.

Who takes care of the street-occupancy permit?

The person in charge of the site — that is the rule everywhere: no permit is needed to place the dumpster on private property, but occupying public space falls under your permit. Every city page documents the verified local rules: permit, parking, placement.
